Suzanne Walker - Pastor

Pastor Suzanne began serving the Pomaria Charge in July 2010. She comes to us from Warrenville, South Carolina where she and her husband, Edward, along with their two cats and a dog call home. She has attended Campbell University Divinty School in Buies Creek, NC and is currently attending the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary where she is working towards a Master of Divinity degree.

Before attending seminary, Suzanne graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina with her Bachelor's degree in Music Education and later went on to teach middle and high school music. While in the midst of her teaching career, God called her to begin her ministry training and she began attending seminary. Music continues to be a major part of ministry life and influence.

Pastor Suzanne has a strong passion for music and preaching. She strives to help make the Word of God relevant to life regardless of age. "The Bible is a story of God's grace in the lives of many different people. God's grace continues to be active in our lives today. We are a part of that narrative and we certainly have a story to tell."

When not in the pulpit, Pastor Suzanne can be found in the kitchen cooking Italian food or at the golf course squeezing in 18 holes. She has recently been performing with an informal bluegrass group called the 421 Trio.
