The United Methodist Women meets in the evenings on the third Thursday of each month at 7 PM, usually in a members home, for devotionals and to discuss church concerns locally and abroad.  The New Hope United Methodist Women's group is very active in the local church and community and is connected to global missions through the Women's division of the United Methodist Church.

• All women, young and old, are invited to join the United Methodist Women.  We support 5 missions in SC and many around the world.  The organized unit of the UMW shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
   
• Don't forget that the UMW has "Happy Home Flavoring" for sale.  Flavors available are:  lemon, vanilla, almond, and butternut for $3 per bottle and pure vanilla for $7 per bottle.
