Online Bible Study

Welcome.  You are about to begin something that will be good and enjoyable.

This study is based on the book by Philip Yancey by the same name.  (It is not necessary to purchase the book to participate in this on-line study.) 

For several weeks in early 2008, a group from New Home UMC and Capers Chapel UMC met in the parsonage and participated in the study.

You may do the same online. 

You will need to do three things:  have a Bible, set aside a regular time for study and offer a prayer asking the Lord to help you benefit from your study.  If you do not have a Bible handy, you may contact the pastor for one at

or, you may open one of several versions of the Bible in another window or tab by going to
